Selling stock photos and digital images in Australia? I'm thinking of trying to sell some of my photos and digital art for use as backgrounds and stock / generic photos. My camera is only about 5-6 megapixels but I always set the camera at the highest resolution and I'm told my compositions are close to or at pro level? I understand that unlike art photography stock and generic shots used for ads and covers need plenty of blank space for text and titles? I also have some digital art designs that might be suitable for textbook and science magazine covers? I live in Sydney Australia. What image and picture agencies would be friendly to a newbie?
How many ways can I sell Digital photos? I hear ebay but I am not sure if they mean digital photos or not. Plus i am about to try many different stock photography sites but i was wonder if there are any other ways?
Copyright infringement on digital photos? I unknowingly used a copyrighted photo on my website for marketing (stock photo of business people). I received a letter from the company saying I needed to remove the image and pay them $1,200 for the violation. I removed the image immediately but I don't know if they have a case for any money since it wasn't intentional (I thought it was free) and I removed it after finding out. Do they have a case?
Cheap lighting for digital camera photos...? I have a new digital camera, it takes great photos in good light but in my apt at night it makes it look like a cave. Anyone know how i can spend maybe $10 at walmart and get good lighting? My current idea is to take a stand I already have, attach a white floodlight that faces a diffusing surface, something refractive like a large sheet of white card stock, or silver cardstock. Anyone have any other/better ideas?
Good Camera for Amateur Stock Photography? What would be a good camera to get for doing amateur digital stock photography. I want something affordable that will provide me with a high enough resolution to sell them as stock photos. Could I pull it off with even a simple camera, like a cybershot or something?
How can I sell stock photography? I see stock photos being sold on CDs and online. How can I get my pictures available to these publishers to be resold by them or used directly? What pictures are in demand today? Is it necessary to buy na high-end digital camera? I have a basic Olympus F-270.
Best way to make money from photos? I am interested in trying to make some money from my digital photos, I have thousands of them on my computer and have recently started taking photography very seriously and learning all about apertures, shutter speeds etc., also editing photos to make them look different and catchy. I would really love to do this as some kind of career, but can't afford to go to college, hence the reason I am teaching myself through practice and books! Are there any good genuine photography stock sites out there? I know of some i.e. Shutterstock etc., but not sure which is the best?
Could an amateur photographer earn $400-500 a month selling stock photos on the online stock photo sites? I'm looking for a way to earn an extra $400-500 per month in extra income. My wife and I love to take photos, but we're far from pros. We would have to refine our skills a little more. If we invested in a decent digital SLR camera, is it possible to earn this amount of income if we were consitently taking/uploading a lot of good photos to these onine sites that resell stock photos? Would you consider this a stretch, or is it a fairly reasonable possibility? Would 10-20 hours per week be sufficient time to put into this effort (taking photos, editing, uploading, etc.)?
Canon digital mid price range but pro results? I have the lenses from my rebel slr and want to keep them to use on a NEW digital by Canon. I am looking for a camera that can do pixels well enough to enlarge to poster size prints. Anyone used one or know of one that can give those results but not cost a fortune? Planning to start a stock photo site and need to have high quality resolution for the small photos and also potentially poster size. Advice? Also, advice where to get the best deals other than ebay?
Has anybody started a successful small business selling their photos as postcards and calenders? I'm looking for particulars, like did you sell through a stock photo agency, or get the cards/calenders printed yourself and sell through local stores and craft fairs? How about selling on eBay and/or a seperate unique WWW page. What kind of volume can I expect? What's selling over the long haul, landscapes or dogs or ??? Has everybody gone digital, or is there still demand for film based photos? Etc. etc. etc....
finding good stock photos? ok i will tell you what im doing then maybe you can help me. Im a forum person and i like to make signatures, recently my pc crashed and i lost all my photos that i use to make signatures and i cant remember the good sites to find any cool 400X150 3d/digital backrounds. if you guys could help me out that would be of really big help! just list whatever comes to mind! if you know of good sites for 400X150 backgrounds that would be best but i will take good wallpaper sites also(only backgrounds i put my own characters on so i dont want faces and stuff on them...lol) thanks agaiN!

I would prefer digital as it would be easier to upload photos. but non digital is ok too. new or used. any suggestions. thank you for you help. thanks ara57. yeah the site is for stock photos for people to use in their designs etc. not for portfolio use. A question about using stock photo's in photoshop for art? Ok this may sound silly but I am fairly new to photoshop and I have been looking at some digital made paintings/art on deviantart and some say stock photos used from blah blah blah... so, what is a stock photo and what do you use them for?
I hear so many conflicting statements about digital photo printing services. Which is correct? I have a list of premium, professional digital photo print services that will create 'archival' 8 x 10 prints for $10 to $30. Then I see Costco offering 8 x 10's for $1.99, and I've heard they produce as good a product as anyone. What is the deal? Just what makes the premium sites better besides storage space, cataloging, etc. Is it the printing equipment, paper stock, etc? Let's say I've photoshopped my photos exactly to what I want via my monitor settings. Do the premium places adjust your own 'adjustments'? Also, there is an element of subjectivity involved in the product (I might like the color/contrast results at Costco's; you might think it sucks). BTW, when Frank Stella (his paintings go for $500,000 nowadays) began painting, he went to paint store basement sales because he could only afford a dollar per gallon for paint. Now everyone calls him a genius. Bottom line? Does it make a difference where you get your work done (other than doing it yourself)?
Where online can I have my digital wedding pics touched up and printed on high end photo stock? ? I have high-res wedding pictures that I would like to have printed on high end photo stock. Ideally the website would also use software to maximize the color, blemishes, lighting, etc to "touch up" the photo prior to printing. It seems most places just print on regular flimsy paper. Does anyone know of a website/company that offers this service? I'm looking for the kind of quality that can look good in a frame for years to come... thanks.

It is digital, but it records movies on some mini-dvm60 digital video cassettes. What should i do? is there any kind of hardware designed for this or i need a video-capture card in my computer? I also read in the instruction manual that photos are stocked on a SD Card or so. Cant i Make it to put videos on it also? btw model : Panasonic NV-GS26.
Where is the best place to sell digital photography online? Where is the best place to sell digital photography, stock and or quality prints? I have heard there is a bigger market for stock photo's overseas? Has anyone read any digital photography business books they could recommend? Any help to offer would be greatly appreciated. I already have great photgraphy skills and beautiful pictures, so maybe going about a personal website using a private vendor for printing and dropshipping? Has anyone had any success at any of the above? I am looking for people that have experience and knowledge within the field that have been succesful or can help me with understanding why they have not. I am eager to hear back from all of you. Thanks again.
Good Canon digital camera? I already have the zoom and standard lens from my rebel g camera which I assume would be interchangeable with a digitial camera??? so am wondering what a good digital camera model would be (also Canon) that would give professional type results. I need high pixels so that I can submit photos to a professional stock photo site.

How would one make HDR photos with a Canon AE-1? I recently obtained a Canon AE-1 camera. I have been interested in HDR imaging, and would like to try it out. I understand that HDR imaging requires editing in a photo editing program (I use GIMP), but I need help taking stock images. All of the tutorials I've come across are for digital cameras, so I need help with what settings (shutter speed, aperture, etc.) to use with this camera. Thanks for your help ahead of time.
looking for some old photos - please help!? I'm hoping to start doing some digital photo restoration freelancing and I've been working on some sample work. I want to take a few really old, cracked, stained, torn and in generally bad shape photos to restore to show what I can do. Unfortunately I'm having some trouble locating said photos. Does anyone know any place I can find free stock images that I would be able to then use to advertise? If not, I'd even be willing to restore something anyone may have free of charge, in return for letting me show it in my portfolio.
What am I doing wrong with my mini digital photo viewer? Camera for Stock Photography? I'm really interested in uploading pics up on stock photo sites, but I'm not rich enough to buy a professional camera. So I was wondering if there were any affordable cameras out there with enough megapixels (heard that u had to have at least 8mp) n great photo quality shooting. So here are my questions: 1. can you use a digital camera to upload pics in stock photo sites? (or does the camera have to be SLR / DSLR? or are they the same thing? I'm still an amateur at this) 2. and what's the minimum mp for the camera those sites would accept? 3. do you always need photoshop to fix your pic if u have a 8~10mp camera (and wats the min. mp camera u can use WITHOUT photoshop)? I'd really appreciate sources. Thanks.
what do u think looks better on me? this: http://fotosa.ru/stock_photo/Digital%20Vision/p_2022228.jpg or this: http://images-3.redbubble.net/img/art/size:large/view:main/259786-10-christmas-rabbit.jpg
Lens adjustment for Canon EOS Digital? I have a Canon EOS Digital camera (8 mp XT version). For legal purposes, I need to take photos close to what the eye actually sees. It has a 1.6X focal length magnifier. I have been told that the lens needs to be set on 50 or 55mm but this is for 35mm SLR's. My lens on my camera is the stock one (18-55). What does it need to be set on?
What is the best way to start selling my photos as a beginner photographer? I have been interested in photography for years and jusr got my first Digital SLR. I would love to start a career as a photographer and am willing to work hard and start at the bottom. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how to get my foot in the door. Also, I was considering selling some of my work on some of those stock photo sites. Has anyone done that before and if so, how has it worked for you and how much money can you actually make that way? Thanks so much!

How to increase an image file size to load to stock photo web site? I am trying to upload some pictures I took in Europe to a stock photo website. It says that they will only accept files that are at least 47.5 MB. Mine are all 28.71. When I took the pictures I put my digital slr on highest quality. How come they still aren't large enough? Is there anyway to change these to meet the 47.5 MB requirement? I am trying to upload some pictures I took in Europe to a stock photo website. Can I update the picture for an Ebay listing? This will be my first time selling on ebay. I want to try to sell a videogame and since its my first time I want to show customers I actually own the game. But I won't be able to borrow a digital camera till later tonight. My question is if I can do the listing now, and later update with a real photo -- because I'd rather not use the stock photo for the game.
Is this photography book out of date regarding stock photography? I bought a 'new' book with a publication date of 2000 that's about stock photography--250 pages long & 200 of them on how to set up your own specialized online stock photo company. The author's had a business for 40 years. The information he provides seems hopelessly out of date. He claims you can make a good living if you find a niche with your own copyrighted photographs. Sure, if you started 40 years ago maybe. But is his advice basically worthless nowadays since photography has gone online and digital? I think so, and I want my money back--in fact it seems just about every marketing book on photography published before 2005 or so is out of date. True?
Graphic design? Copyrights? HUH? So, I'm branching out my graphic design. I used to handle only invitations for birthdays and such, but now I'm getting tickets for shows and other ads, etc. Basically, it's becoming more commercial than personal use. My question is about the resources used in creating digital art. Like stock photos, brushes, textures, and fonts. I don't want to get into any legal trouble, say, if I use a brush without giving proper credit to its creator. I was just wondering how I can tell if a font/brush/whatever resource is okay for such usage. If it is, what kind of credit would be necessary? Monetary compensation, or would credit in the website be enough? I'm not a professional, so the fees I get are almost just tokens for the labor. I have no set rates or anything. I'm also making my own textures/brushes, so the fonts are my main concern as of now. Does fair use come to play anywhere here? Sorry for the mixed thoughts, but I think I got my point across. Any info would be great. Thanks, Y!A :D
How Is Ace Photo Digital's Shipping? amazon ( the seller ), ran out of Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lenses, so i had to buy it from ace photo digital ( on amazon.com ). I've never bought from here, i ordered standard shipping, which says three to five business days. Does anyone know how long it usually takes. Is it fast, is it slow? the estimate says From august 7-12, and i ordered it yesterday. So the estimate exceeds the 3-5 day charge. Have you ordered from them? how was the shipping? Amazon.com say they aren't going to have the back in stock September, and i can't wait that long. Lol, i didn't have a choice, and the expedited shipping was too expensive. i can't, i already ordered it, i can't order it again
Photomanipulation copyright? I have been creating graphics with the mixed use of free stock photos and pieces of digital art of various artists.By piece I mean for example out of an entire drawing of a kitchen, I only use the clock that is in the corner of the picture and put it in my graphic (everything else in the graphic is free to use stock photos or textures). I want to know if I can copyright a creation that in it contains a PIECE of someone else's artwork?
What website do you sell your prints on? I am wanting to see what the general consensus for selling your photos online. NOT stock, but if you take a pictures of an event and want to allow those there to order prints or even pay for the digital copy, etc. I'll select best answer on most thought out, and other then just stating a website, why you use that one. All answers appreciated.

Digital photography: selling, accessories, etc? I'm a young woman who loves photography. Digital, point&shoot, anything. Unfortunately, I only own a digital camera at the moment. I have a deviantART account, but I'm too young to sell my pictures there. I've heard about Alamy Photo Stock, and they don't seem to have an age minimum. What are some good sites to sell pictures, and would it be a good idea if I did? Accessories: Is it worth it in the long run to purchase a tripod/large sized memory card, that kind of thing? What brands are the best in your opinion? Thank you a great deal for any help. Ahaha, I only said that because I'd like to own a proffesional camera as well. I should have specified, and I apologize!
Help us decide over the new iMac or the Mac Pro! Thanks..? My dad and I are contemplating between buying the iMac or the Mac Pro. We are starting an Online business; we will be selling stock photos, videos, edited videos, digital images, and stuff like that. We plan to buy the Adobe Master Suite and run and use all of the programs. (Photoshop, After Effects, Flash, Premier Pro, etc.) Mind you that the price is a factor. A few things go into this. Which will be faster? Which will be more reliable while editing video and using Photoshop? Which will be less likely to freeze? The main reason we are buying these is basically design related. Our problem is that, we were originally were set on the iMac because we would get these Specs: Processor: # 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Memory: # 8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 4x2GB HardDrive: 1 TB G-Card: ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB Drive: 8x double-layer SuperDrive Monitor: 27" HD Mouse: Magic Mouse KB: Wireless KB With Microsoft Office For around $2,548.95 which is Our asking Price. With the Mac Pro.. The Specs Would be: Processor: # One 2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Memory: # 6GB (3x2GB) HardDrive: 640 GB G-Card: # NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512MB Drive: 18x SuperDrive Monitor: 24" HD Mouse: Magic Mouse KB: Wireless KB With Microsoft Office For around $3,588.00 which is higher than what we want. We need to know that if we get the iMac that it will be stable enough for what we will be doing. Also, I am planning to go to college for this stuff in two years and even using the Mac after college for a Personal Business. We aren't making huge movies or anything. But we will be using some of the programs listed and more. We hope that the iMac will do the job with out complication. But help us to not make any mistakes. We are first time Mac Users you know! :) Thank you!
what brilliant, wealthy person has donated cameras & fees to develop & copy photos of the dead in haiti? (i tried to choose the category here on yanswers pertaining to "health," "mental," but there is no category here about mental health. this is an emotional mental health issue, but i put it into "politics" because so many of the people that i refer to in the question are very concerned with their image of being "politically correct")... on the day following the major earthquake in haiti, i saw on the news the burial procedure for the dead. to the best of my knowledge, it has not changed. i saw truckloads of corpses being buried in mass graves, but it was pointed out that no one was taking pictures of those that died so that their families could identify them. when the tsunami hit sri lanka, all dead were photographed before they were laid to rest in the mass grave pits. that seems very human to me. would you not want to know if your brother or child was among the dead? so since there are so many wealthy, liberal actors in hollywood (who are so quick to get heard in front of a camera as to politics), how come they haven't donated CAMERAS and the means to pay for film development and processing enough copies of pictures of the dead, to be distributed all over haiti so that those that are alive may properly identify their family members and friends to bring closure to their misery? last i heard, kodak still manufactures and sells disposable film cameras... so does fuji, in case the company NAME makes a difference... why hasn't bill gates, a man that had a net worth 15 years ago of $78 BILLION dollars, donated enough DIGITAL cameras, SD RAM cards, photo printers, and basic computers so that the living that are physically able and willing to get this done can take pictures of the dead before they become unidentifiable skeletons? i also thought about mr. obama doing it, since there is no end to the number of woes that humanity suffers that HE (who walketh upon the water) can solve! i mean, since he hosts 2 parties in the white house each week and has played golf now--since he becomes "exhausted"--far more times than GWB played golf in 8 years as the president, said on camera the other day that he intends to "do something" about the poverty in haiti. so, maybe mr. obama, who accepted the nobel peace prize not for anything he ever DID, but for what he WILL DO in the future (along with the dollar value of $250,000 given to the winner) and a wealthy buddy of his, al gore, who also accepted HIS nobel peace prize for making the movie "an inconvenient truth," all about climate change due to human activity (which of course probably caused the earthquake, ha ha ha), could get together via flying in their big, jumbo jets to copenhagen, or, why not bali or some other exotic, relaxing place in the south seas (???) to figure out a way that the army corps of engineers or the marines could unbury the recent dead, to take photos of them, so that the basic human emotional need of knowing if your loved ones are alive, are injured, or are dead, could be GIVEN to these people of haiti, who generally live on less than $2.00 a day. has any "concerned" person or group of people (or company, like kodak or fuji, who have laid off basic workers but still pay their executives 6 or 7-figure incomes and give them many benefits (such as private gulfstream jets, stock options, and so on) who live on far more than $2 a day, begun the process of getting cameras, etc. into haiti? i want to know who has had that brilliant idea and is implementing it as of today, january 19, 2010? what's in it for them? thank you to the loyal american members of our armed forces for calming down the chaos of this catastrophe and for getting food and water and medical care to ALL in haiti that need help! you go, miss liberty! rb: you can be sure that i know how wretched this country is, what with the rampant corruption that causes skinny, miserable people that rob and loot. no one in chicago with a mind wants to even TALK to a haitian! i don't think you understood my Q. i said that someone should be contributing cameras and the means to reproduce photos of the dead, for distribution all about the country so that relatives and friends can identify the dead rather than wonder for the rest of their lives what happened to them. i didn't mean that someone who is wealthy should go there to stand around, taking pictures. please re-read the Q.
Please help, I am in need of a new digital camera!!!? I want a digital camera to take senior pictures for my brother. I also want to take good nature photo's as well as action (my son and stock car racing). I am looking to spend between 300-500. Any suggestions? I have looked on yahoo I just want your opinion. I like Fujifilm Finepic S700. thanks

I want to do some digital astronomy photography. What's a good way to start? (ToUCam, Adapt a Camera,...) I want to start doing some astronomical computer imaging and I want some recommendations about equipment and books/publications. (I am impressed by the photos I have seen on the internet done with amateur CCD’s and webcams.) I would like to image deep sky objects and planets. In the future I want to be able to track earth orbiting satellites. Right now I am considering a Philips ToUCam with scopetronix adapter, a Meade DSI, or Atik CCD camera. Below I will summarize my current experience level and equipment. I am leaning toward getting the Atik because it is in stock at a near by dealer’s place. (Immediate Gratification!) If I enjoy imaging, I am willing to invest up to $10K in a new telescope and/or other equipment. Equipment: - 30 year old 8 inch Celstron (w/clock drive) - 30 year old polar mount. Experience: - scope out 6 times this year. - takes me 30 mins to find a deep sky object Mag <=9 with no "goto" computer guidence. - one college level astronomy class
Best Beginning Digital SLR for price/features? What's the best make and model of Digital SLR to purchase? I was looking at the Olympus e-510, because it comes with two lenses...but I'm open to any suggestions. I want one that I can use for all around photography with the stock lenses (or that is so inexpensive I can purchase decent lenses without going over $500 max). I'd like it to be sturdy, fairly easy to use (I am a technophile, so I can figure most things out pretty easily.), and good for taking decent photos at close, medium, and long range...and decent at action shots as well. What do you all suggest? http://www.amazon.com/Olympus-Digital-Stabilization-14-42mm-40-150mm/dp/B000NVXF30
Can Walmart Print Stuff For me? Does walmart have a print shop or something that can print things for my on card stock? or what do they have in there digital photo center?
What are relevant questions to ask a photo lab about digital prints and the paper they use? I want to begin selling my digital prints and am not interested in using a retail chain for one-hour developing. Mainly because I've never liked the quality of paper. It has a very thin weight and the texture is not pleasing. The only thing I know about film paper is the difference between fiber-based and resin-based stock, the former being matte and the latter being glossy. I'd prefer matte prints. Do those paper terms still apply with the process of digital prints? What are some relevant questions to ask? Thanks for any advice you have. I'm just trying to give my potential customers the best choice of quality I can provide.
will the store refill there supply before black friday? i was at walmart today to look at some of the stuff i saw that was going to be on sale the day after thanksgiving. 2 of the items i want are out of stock, and the photo center said the digital picture frame has not refilled it stock in 2 days.. i just don't want to stand in line if there is not going to be what i want at the store....
Sell photos made in 3D program? I have been a freelance photographer for a while. Now I can't afford to travel outside of town in order to find worthy photos so I have been working with 3D art. I have a copy of the 2008 Photographer's Market but I was wondering if they would except photos that were actually created in a program instead of taken with a camera or are there other places that except such art, either as art or stock? I am aware of microstock photography companies but I want to try to sell somewhere that I may make more of a profit. Also, ebay doesn't work for me. I am talking about uploading digital images ;)
Why is that my photos come out noisy and usually slightly blurred or out of focus?? eos400D? So i got this canon eos 400d a few months ago. i got this camera because i wanted a digital slr and the 400d seemed like a good choice for a beginner. i just want to take some decent photographs when i need to. Yet everytime i try to take a photo there is something wrong with the resulting image. I try all sorts of different settings and im using the stock lense (18-55mm). i know im not a master photographer but i never considered myself terrible so its disturbing me when i check the photos on the computer and they turn out really rough. i was under the impression that when i turned it on id be able to take some decent photos right off the mark. at the current time im afraid to use it over the smaller pentax camera for fear all my photos will be rubbish. Can anyone help me?

I have a few things picked out for him He is a huge starwars fan so I obtained the original film cells from the directors version, also got him a digital photo key chain as a stocking stuffer... and making him a blanket ( he was promised on years ago but the person failed to deliver and he was sorta upset about that so I am making him one in his faorite colors but just for suggestion what are you getting your husbans we are also in the dead in the middle of planing a wedding so funds are a little tight. I can't afford to give much more.

Lighting in Photography? The thing I struggle with the most in photography is lighting. I have a good digital camera, and a nice film SLR yet my poor lighting skills tend to ruin shots. And I need help now more than ever, as I am now taking stock photos. Could someone please just give me ANY tips they have? For natural lighting too. I can't really spend money on special lights. So.. is there an alternative? thank you everyone er, I don't like to put my photos on photo sharing sites, so my gallery is here: sarahtheshort.deviantart.com [not stock] I haven't gotten anywhere with stock yet, as I'm just starting. So I don't have any examples of those. :/
Why are 'traditional' photographers hung up about photo manipulation.? I've read some comments from traditional studio photographers that claim photoshop manipulation is a cop out or not photography because it is artificial or phony looking. But in reality, you could argue all photography is 'artificial' and 'phony.' A photograph of a person is not a person. It's a visual representation of a person made by the mechanical means of a machine and medium (film stock). Most photographers use or used enlargers. If that's not 'artificial' what is? Besides that, traditionally photographers have manipulated film photographs with dodging, burning, solarizing, etc. And they also have an argument about digital photo manipulation not 'looking real'. Do traditional photographs 'look real'? They are 2-dimensional and made of paper, and lots are b&w. Nothing 'real' about that either. Isn't it really because we have accepted film photography as a convention? convention.

Ebay question,~URGENT>? OKay my digital camera needs a new memory card and i cant get it tonight, but i need to sell ebay items, so i need to use stock photo as my ebay gallery photo, how do i get the stock photo into my pictures to upload them to my ebay item? Thank you. kt
Just how much less quality do you get with teleconverters than a true long range lens? I have two Nikon lenses and I'm not planning on buying more. I was reading about 2x teleconverters, which most photographers write are far inferior to getting an actual long range lens of the same focal length. Then I read in a popular digital photography book that the difference wasn't all that much. I don't shoot photos for stock or magazines where noise and/or clarity issues are very important. And I haven't seen any comparisons (showing the same object shot with a teleconverter vs. a lens) where I could visually compare the two. Would a good teleconverter be ok for occasional use?
Can I export a raw image in aperture into a 50 MB Tiff file? I am looking at purchasing a Nikon D40x which is a 10.2 mega pixel digital SLR camera. I would like to submit some photos to a stock picture library. They require that the images be sent to them as a 50mb TIFF file. Can I do this if I am using Aperture (for Mac). Nikon Tech support was able to do this with a D300 in an adobe photo shop program by increasing the pixels per square inch to achieve a 55.4 mb file. Can anybody help to clear this up for me before I outlay any money for this new camera? Unfortunately I am unable to spend any more than $1000 on the new camera at the moment so please don't answer suggesting all sorts of other equipment. Thanks
