Free Digital Stock Photos Knowledge Base

How do you upload a stock photo as a photo or an avatar on YA? Where is the browse button in the My Profile area? I'm tired of the usual avatars that are offered. I just found some free stock photos and I'd like to put up what I call "Cat with Attitude" as my picture, until I buy a digital camera. Thanks.
I am looking for Digital camera for $100-$150.that is good for close ups and scenics. digital or not.? I am a web designer and i have just started a new site that offers free stock photos. I need a camera to take close up shots, distant shots and everything in between. I would prefer digital as it would be easier to upload photos. but non digital is ok too. new or used. any suggestions. thank you for you help. thanks ara57. yeah the site is for stock photos for people to use in their designs etc. not for portfolio use. I will look into getting a bit more money for a camera and a film reader or something. Is there any digital cameras that will be just good enough for stock photos?

Copyright infringement on digital photos? I unknowingly used a copyrighted photo on my website for marketing (stock photo of business people). I received a letter from the company saying I needed to remove the image and pay them $1,200 for the violation. I removed the image immediately but I don't know if they have a case for any money since it wasn't intentional (I thought it was free) and I removed it after finding out. Do they have a case?
How do i make professional photo greeting cards to sell? i want to make my own greeting cards but i am really confused as to what to do. my thoughts are below, but what is the correct procedure? feel free to give all your ideas, experience, referrals, links, etc. I want to learn how to take pictures of flowers, nature, etc. but i don't know what camera is the best. i assume some sort of digital camera should be used. i wonder if i should buy card stock/or paper used to make greeting cards to print on or should i take them/digital photos to the local print shop/Kinko's/staples to print. what is the best type of printer/ink...laser? or should i just skip it and use the print shop. should I copy right my pictures? should i get some sort of bar code for the back of each card? i suppose i should make a business name. I don't want a big time organization to compete with the big guys. I just want a cost effective way to make extra money from home.
