How to set up digital camera & computer so can take many photos & the files instantly save/view in software? I want to have the same set up as photographers who do "sessions" where the camera is USB'd to the computer and you can take photos which instantly transfer to the computer for editing / viewing / printing etc etc. I need to do long sesions of taking product photos and it would be great to not have to stop and upload all the time!

How to set up digital camera & computer so that the photos are instantly sent to computer instead of camera ? I have a Fuji Finepix s5200 / s5600 . I want to be able to set things up so that when i take a photo they are sent to my computer ,and can be instantly viewed on my screen ,but im not sure if i can manage this with my camera. I have looked around the net ,and found you can with programs for other fuji camera's but havent found anything helpful with my model. Can this be done ?? And if so how can i manage this ?? Anybody know anyhting about printing pictures from a digital camera to photo printer? I have the following photo printer & digital camera SAMSUNG DIGITAL PHOTO PRINTER SPP-2020 NIKON DIGITAL CAMERA COOLPIX 7600 Everytime I connect the printer cable from the printer into my camera ready to print off pictures the camera instantly cuts out and remains blank screened and on stand by mode until I then take the cable out again. I don't have a clue why I cannot print my pictures it is the first time I have attempted to do so. I am not familiar with cameras. If anybody is able to help me please can you give me step by step on how i successfully print giving details to guide me. I am not printing using my pc in any way. The printer is specifically to print photos direct from the camera. Serious answers only please. Thanks

Digital Camera Questions? I have two questions regarding digital cameras. I am going to purchase a digital camera before this summer starts here. I was hoping someone could point me to a camera model (or models) that can take photos quickly, a small camera, long battery life, and can hold a lot of photos. Megapixels are not that huge of a deal since I know photo quality comes from the lense. Now my second question is, is it true that only SLR digital cameras can take a photo instantly? Thanks.

Want to instantly view pictures after shooting, from my digital camera, WIRELESSLY? i was watching Americas Next Top Model and they were having a photo session. As the photographer was shooting the model, the ANTM facilitator was able to instantly view each frame on the computer(but i'm not sure if it was wirelessly). I'm considering purchasing the Nikon d80 or d200 camera. But here's what i desire..WIRELESSLY, i want to be able to shoot pictures and instantly be able to see it on my laptop AND in cases where i don't have my computer, be able to tell the camera to print a frame wirelessly(though i realize i would have to probably manually adjust the printer to print different size pictures). If the NIkon product listed above isn't capable, what recommendations are in order? Serious replies only please.

How can I make my Casio ex-z1050 digital camera browse photos faster? Usually when browsing the photos in view mode, it loads up downscale version of the picture and then a second later it shows the full res version. This is so you can skip through the photos quickly without waiting for each one to load. I took some of the photos of the cameras SD card and put them back on at a later date. I found that when browsing the photos, it would take a second for some of them to load, where as most would load instantly. It wasn't long before I realised that the photos taking time to load were the ones I had put back on. I wasn't till later I discovered the reason: The camera is going straight to the full resolution image rather than showing the downscaled version. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Digital cameras? 'active child mode'? hey, im looking for a new digital camera, but im not looking to spend that much, since im not a photographer or anything, but i'd like one that takes photos instantly, like the nikon s600, which has 'active child mode' is there any other cameras with modes like this? which takes photos when the people are moving.... im not sure what its called. does anyone know a kinda low budget camera like this?

how does a modern camera flash work? I'm sure most of you remember the old camera flashes that took around 10 seconds to charge up, and emitted a high-pitched whine in the process... nowadays, my digital camera charges its flash instantly - I can take photo after photo with the flash, with no discernible wait in between (of course it takes around 2 seconds for the camera to finish saving the photo to the memory card before I can take another). The question is, how does one of these modern super-fast flashes work?

How do I fix my Kodak EasyShare V1233 12.0 MP Digital Camera? There are 4 buttons that could turn on the camera. 1. The on/off button. 2. the camera photo button. 3. the camera video button. and 4. the camera favorites button. Buttons 1~3 when i press them, the camera turns on, and turns back off instantly. When i press the favorites button, it goes to favorites, and will stay on, but if i press the record button or the camera button, it turns off again instantly. Also, sometimes it will work, and i can take pictures, but the screen is black and i can't see what i'm taking XD

How much does a Canon Digital Rebel XTI cost? I'm 15 years old (if you wanted to know) and i'm into professional photography now and i want to get a decent camera. Many have recommended the Canon Digital Rebel XTI so i've started to save up for it (ha ha, i don't have a casual job, i'm only saying up from the $20/wk pocket money). how to connect a digital camera to laptop whilst taking pictures using PC SYNC? i just wondered how to connect my Fuji Finepix S9600 to my laptop whilst im taking photos like they do in studio's?? When i have seen this they take a picture and its goes instantly to their laptop on what looks like a piece of 3rd party software. All the time i have seen this the camera is connected to the laptop via a cable which i think is connected to the PC Sync terminal but cant seem to find a cable for this on the net anywhere and im sure my camera has this. how to edit RAW photos in adobe bridge? im new to the digital slr world from years of film. its working for all my jpeg images, but whenever i try to edit a RAW file it says it's unreadable or a corrupt file, they work in rawker, but i seriously hate the program and its making them all have terribly under exposed and green. I was checking my lcd and light meter the whole time i was shooting, so maybe its a bit under of over exposed, but definitely not this bad. Every website i go to says it should upload and let me edit it instantly, which what i thought. am i doing something wrong? i shot RAW with adobe rgb. also all the files are saved as ####.NEF am i doing something wrong?

Live Transfer to computer.? While taking pictures in my studio with my Canon Digital Rebel Xti i was wondering how i could instantly transfer photos from my camera to my macbook pro the instant i take them. How to load picture onto my pc? I just recently bought a Canon Digital Rebel XT to replace my old camera. Today when I tried to load pictures onto my computer (for the first time), it instantly downloaded all the stuff needed to do it. But, then it didn't give me the option to upload my photos. So, I turned off the camera, unplugged it, plugged it back in, turned it back on, and still, nothing. My other Canon camera would instantly have a pop up box that would give me the option to save the pictures to My Documents, or take them to photoshop. What can I do? btw, the cords I am using to hook up my camera to my computer are the ones that came with the camera. I didn't buy them seperately or anything like that. Intel Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz. computer versus AMD Mobile Sempron Processor 3000+ with PowerNow! 1.8Ghz.? I'm looking at a couple different used laptops I'm going to be using for digital photo work using Nikons Camera Control Pro software that displays the pictures I take instantly on the computer screen . I would have this hooked into my Nikon D80 camera. This way I can view my portraits on larger screen rather than on the small camera LCD screen. which of the processers listed above do you think would perform better? Faster? Etc.? any ideas which way to go? I already have a desktop computer. I want this just to take to photoshoots. Don't want to buy a new higher priced one. I have an Epson Stylus TX700W printer, it takes SD cards from cameras, it's not working as it is supposed? I can print and scan documents fine, so I know it's hooked up to my computer to some extent, I plug my SD card in the slot, the green light comes on as normal (on the printer), an auto play feature is meant to come up on my computer screen saying to open folder etc. (same as when you put a CD into a drive..) I have gone through 'My Computer' and searched through there for the SD card drive, and I cannot manage to find it. This feature did at one stage work and I've only had this problem within the last 2 weeks.. oh and when I plug the SD card in the photos show up the on digital screen in the middle of the printer but does not seem to reach the computer.. so my question basically is.. How do I get my SD card on my printer to register to my computer so I can instantly look at photos again? thanks in advance

i dont see how this could have been child pornography? http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=8628534&cid=wkstmbl i just stumbled on this video and its about how a couple took pictures of their kids bathing and goofing off and when they went to develop them a walmart employee saw them and reported them which cause mayhem. the parents lost custody for a month and the woman lost her job for a year and they both were put on child molester lists or something like that.... this is ridiculous, i know i didnt see all the pictures but something like this should be put on the down low to protect all that are involved, once there is a case on this about you, weather you are guilty or not you are still labeled as a sex offender or child molester and it continues on. plus things like this will become harder and harder to catch as more photos are becoming digital and no need to go get them developed. another thing is i have seen photos or videos that show more than what i saw in the video on things like in commercials or magazines or tv shows, why is it that once someone cries molesters everyone believes it instantly and BAM! their lives are ruined? how can we fix this? innocent people are becoming victims this needs to stop i understand the employee did it cause frankly they should and i agree CFS should have had this investigation cleared up no more than a week and should be kept silent until convicted guilty really sam exactly... although when my mom did it to me i wished the cops did do something >.< lol

I'm a 14 yr old girl interested in photography. since it's nearing christmas i was thinking of getting a proper camera instead of using my 3.2mp phone camera (Shameful!) Is there a setting on this sony cybershot dsc-w350 to make it faster, our old 6mp cybershot took instant? photos and you could see the image as soon as you pressed the button, this new one flashes twice then there is black screen then the picture come into focus but its not the one we wanted as we are taking pictures of the kids, what gives, again with the older 6 mega pixel cybershot we pressed the button and instantly got what we wanted, I just got this yesterday and was thinking about going with the CANON Powershot 1300 is which was right around the same price. I guess we need a digital camera that is fast like our old one, any recommendations, our budget is under $200, thanks. Uploading Profile Picture!? I decided lastnight I wanted to upload a photo to my Yahoo! profile. Everytime I tried I kept getting the following message, "Sorry, Unable to process request at this time -- error 999." Tonight, I'm still getting the same message. When I contacted customer care, they replied back instantly with some pre-written LONG reply that had nothing to do with what I asked about...typical! Anyone else getting this error? What else can I do to get my photo to upload to my profile? They are just regular JPEG/JPG files from my digital camera, so I know it's not that file format that is the problem. "Roberta" That is not the problem! As you can see, other people are also on this same forum, reporting the "error 999" crap. It's nothing I am doing, I've been using a computer for 10 years, and have uploaded tons of pics before to Yahoo. As typical, it's Yahoo yet again... BTW there is no size limit in the photo when uploading to your profile. I've uploaded 5MP shots before. This is clearly yet again, a Yahoo issue!

What type of camera is best for me? I'm starting on the photography college major track, and i want to get off on right foot. I want to fallow the avenue of model photography though, not still lifes, scenery, etc. I had a photo shoot with two models a while ago and borrowed my aunts 1,500$ SLR camera. I was instantly spoiled and now that im starting my photography classes this semester and need to buy a digital camera im torn between two things. One: Do i get an SLR or a point and shoot style camera. Two: Do i get a Nikon or a Canon (i know there are other brands, but unless you have a strong argument for another brand im sticking with these two ^_^).
