  1. I remember this boy who had a big head, we used to call him makanda (meaning big-sized head). He never liked the name, Makanda. He was also bully. One day he bullied me and I said, "fotsek, Makanda!" He gave me a hiding of my life, but my friends sorted him out a week later.
  2. I had a good long think here. <--unusual for me. I can't say anything really bad comes to mind. I've been teased plenty, fought with people and had my emotions crushed but nothing that scarred me so badly it weighs down my thoughts. Prehaps my brain is blocking all the bad experiences? Sort of like storing them up until I'm ready to handle them? Or maybe I was memory wiped by little green men, but most of my memories are very pleasant and the rest only vaguely annoying.
  3. That girl who threw a bottle of water over my new school shoes.Unlike Pitso, I still have to extract my revenge, with Tsepo's help of cause.
  4. get off me , now
  5. Some family members and friends thought that I would turn into an alchoholic, but twenty years on, I drink maybe two drinks a Year. I still smile about it.
  6. The worst was being told : ''Jy is 'n weggooi kind !'' I was for all practical reasons but you never tell somebody that ! I cannot tell you how lonely and lost I felt ! I will be a good father untill I die !
  7. My father often used to say: "You are big, and old, and ugly enough to ... " That was so motivating! Join the club, Heavy D. It is amazing how parents say things without realising how detrimental it is to their children.
  8. my grandmother always used to say, "you regret what you never experienced." so, negative or positive, its not what happens, but how you work through it.
  9. I just wish things did not have to change, for whatever reason - if it was so good why did it have to end or did we just grow up
