Is it possible to copy edited digital photos from my computer to an xD memory card?

I am thinking about buying a digital picture frame that can read from a memory card. But before I plug my card into the frame, I would like to transfer my photos from my camera to my computer, then use Adobe Photoshop to edit them and then transfer them back to an xD memory card for use in a digital picture frame. I suspect this will work but has anyone done it? Do you lose quality?

1. No you wont lose on quality. You need to have a card reader of course that has support for xD card types.
2. no untouched ones will go back on the same camera
3. It is possible to put pictures back on the card sometimes. Sony camera's won't do it, but most cameras when connected to a computer, show up as a removable drive. Just copy the edited pictures to the drive that represents the camera's media card. NOTE: after copying, the edited pictures my not display on the camera's LCD, but the files will be there. A card reader makes the whole thing easier!
