My Memory Lane

What are some alternatives to photo albums for storing photos?

I have a lot of pictures that I like to look through but don't really want to organize into photo albums. Right now they are in a shoebox what is a better way to organize and store photos of varying sizes?

  1. They have now come out with photo boxes. Most all stores have them. I bought one, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna like it.
  2. Digital pitcure frame
  3. Did you ever see the Robin Williams movie where he worked at a Photo lab and he glued all these photo's all over the wall of his appartment. It was creepy since he was a stalker, but I always wanted to do that in my study with pictures of my daughter.
  4. CD's
  5. You should organize your pictures by dates in a photo album not a shoe box. Also you can organize them by what ones you like the best to the worst.
  6. Scrapbooks are effective, because you can put photos of varying sizes in them; you can also make them look fancy. You could put the photos in one of those frames that has lots of spaces. Or you could save the money and make a photo collage, which you could then frame and hang. Alternatively, you may wish to scan the photos onto your computer and store them this way. This is probably the easiest way to organize them! If you have old photos you don't want, a local history museum may want them. My mom works at one and they have so many old photos of random people. They would surely appreciate such a donation. You could also try selling them on e-bay. :-) People like buying random things, like photos of people they don't know. I hope one of these suggestions is helpful!
  7. it depends on if you have them in a digital camera or just traditional pictures. If the are digital you can put them in a zip file so they wont take up some much room on your computer. If the are traditional get a photo box you can store more of them in a smaller space.
  8. I just keep mine in drawers, but then again I'm not too organized
  9. Scan them onto your computer and then downlaod them to a CD. Just an option.
