My Memory Lane

What happens to the memories from Dumbledore's bottles and pensieve now that he is dead?

Another person asked this question (among a series of a few dozen questions) and didn't get a good answer, but this has been bothering me too. What will happen to the memories Dumbledore was storing in bottles and in the pensieve? Who will inherit them, and will they be of any use since he is now deceased? I have to imagine that in the pensieve was stored a great many thoughts and ideas from Dumbledore, many of which I suspect would be of great importance to Harry Potter and Harry Potter fans.

  1. well i imagine that they will now be stored very much like a computer in the pensieve and harry will be able to access them. this is only speculation however. I would like to hope that we are able to see other memories from dumbldores past and i feel it would add to the plot.
  2. i think they'd still be there. the question is if anyone will have the "power" to tap into those memories... im guessing Harry might be able to make use of it
  3. I think the pensive will be vital to the last book if Dumbledore doesn't come back somehow. Harry needs the memories in order to beat Voldermort. I would have to guess that he is one of the few that know what the pensive is and will be able to travel into Dumbledore's memories. But that is just my guess :P
  4. I think they will go to Harry and he will use them to find the Horcruxes
  5. They still exhist but they are memories. What he knew that now others will know.
  6. As long as they were still stored at his death, they'd still be stored. Remember than in book 6, Dumbledore had some memories of people who were deceased, including memories of a house elf and uncle of Voldemort's.
  7. I would assume that along with any other spells that he cast the memories perhaps disappear.
