My Memory Lane

What are your good library memories and thoughts?

I need to describe my library and although I love it, I'm having brain block. Can you guys give me a few things that you love about the library or memories?

  1. Well, talking about library memories......... The most fond one I have is of my grade 10 one. My school had just finished renovating and the library was new. It was my last year at that school. We had our last literature lesson there and had also enacted our last play there as a class.
  2. Ah, one of my fondest library memories was hanging out with Sara Johnson in the back corner of the poetry section....Sara wasn't much of a poetry reader but she was always able to straighten out my Longfellow~
  3. my school library stinks, but i love the public library. they have the most comfortable couches ever. you can sit there and read all day, cuz no one really ever goes there. hope you get over your brain block
  4. The public librarian who showed me when I was ten, how to use a card catalogue, and recommended Anne of Green Gables. That feeling of warmth and welcome. The quiet. The way aisles smelled of leather and hardwood. That first realization that I would never know all there was to know.
