How do I get digital photos from my camera to an actual photo that I can place in a frame or album?

I have some great photos on my new digital camera, but I don't know what to do next. How do I get actual photographs? I have a computer, but not a color printer. Can I just take the camera or the memory card to a camera shop or the drug store and have photos "developed" like I used to with film? How does all of this work? Any help is appreciated!

1. Take the memory card to the local drugstore and use their system. They will be there to help if you have any questions but it is pretty simple. You choose the pics, the size, the crop, etc. And in 3 or 4 minutes they will have everything printed up and in a bag for you.
2. You can either do this online (and have the pictures sent to you) or bring the memory card to a photo booth. It is very easy to do. Online you can even get the album made into a book if you want at Kodak. This is great if your photos are all from one holiday or wedding etc. A little expensive though.
3. when you buy a camera it should have the card reader, insert the card in it and select the option copy pictures in a folder in my computer and save it. After that you can open an account in snapfish they have really cheap prints and you can choose to pick them up at any store or they can send them to you by mail The prints are $ .09 cents per print plus you can get free prints when you tell your friends!!!!!
4. You can get it printed at a photo shop, big retailers often have a photo processing facility attached as well. Easiest is to just print them online e.g. with http://www.bigwphotos.com.au if you're in Australia. You just have to upload them, pay and wait for it to come in the mail :)
