How can I edit my digital photos?

I have bunches of digital pictures in my PC and camera and I don't know how to deal with them. Is there any possibility to edit my favorite pictures and make them into useful calendars, greeting cards, desktop wallpapers etc easily? I just wanna relive my photos and enjoy them. Any answers will be much appreciated!

Well if ur really serious about photo editing Photoshop by adobe is the best there is. although if u only want it for the things u posted up there its a complete waste of money. if u want something less costly try this http://www.gimp.org/ ive never used gimp but ive heard its good for being free. and who doesn't like free stuff???
2. idk but i think u have to download them to the computer than edit to a file thingy.
