What is the best way to organize the memories in your Handheld Ham Radio?
I have a Yaesu Ft60 HT with 1000 memories that can be separated into 10 memory banks and am not sure what is the best way to organize the memories. ie... Should I put the 440Mhz repeaters separate from the 2 meter repeaters?...Should I load up the intire state or just my local areas I travel in? Also is there any place on line to get the repeater frequency directory CSV files free?

- ...what?
- There is no right or wrong way... just do it however it works best for you. It is, however, easier to locate frequencies if you have them allocated to certain memory banks. I'd just put in the freq's for the areas you frequent. Then if you're going to be in a "new" area put in the freq's you'll need there. There are lots of repeater directories online but I've not encountered any in CSV format. But that doesn't mean they're not out there. 73
