How much in sales to you have to earn to be a creative memories constulant?
I was thinking about becoming a creative memories constulant and wanted to know how much my first order had to be, and how much you had to make each month, and what happens if you don't make the quota?

- I can not answer all your questions due to it was my wife selling the stuff but I can tell you she became a #1 producer. When my wife started selling it was slow due to everyone had to wait up to 4-6weeks for there order. I told my wife to take the $2,000 we had in savings and buy an inventory of what people buy most and some. Well guess what? People buy on demand, they do not want to wait all that time for an order and they will spend extra due to it being in front of them. It became such a big business she started taking credit cards and after a year she stopped due to it becoming a full time job. She even had other consultants buying stuff from her, and when she had the parties the stuff sold like hot cakes. I hope this helps. It is not a bad business.
- I am currently a CMC. You have to sell $500 retain in a 3 month period ($350 at cost), plus you pay sales tax on the retail amount and have an $18 S/H charge. What does this amount to? Approximately $125 per month (to spend). If you don't meet your sales minimum you will just deactivate, and if you want to reactivate within 6 months of deactivation you will only have to pay a $50 reactivation fee. If you wait past the 6 months you will need to buy a whole new kit. I have not been a huge success at this, but I have been a consultant for 4 years. I mostly do it for my own supplies plus a few others. I don't sell enough to earn any money, but I do get my supplies "at cost", which is 70% of retail (or 30% off). If you were to sign an agreement today, you would need to place your first order by Sept 30th (I believe). Your signing consultant will most likely lead you to believe you have to do it in 30 days, but you actually have 90. The calendar is a rolling quarter system, and each month starts on the 1st and ends on the last day of the month, but usually moves to Friday if the last day falls on a weekend. If you are serious about becoming a CMC for a business, I would suggest you schedule your first class or two prior to signing your agreement, and plan to have your kit right before your class, this way you are not wasting your first month waiting for your kit, waiting for your class, etc. Your signing CMC can probably loan you some catalogs and other business materials until your kit arrives.
